Building human rights capacity and expertise in the legal and community sectors is a key priority for the HRLRC. 

The Centre’s educational and capacity-building activities include:

• publishing the monthly Human Rights Law Resource Centre Bulletin;
• publishing and periodically updating a comprehensive online Guide to the Victorian Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities and the HRLRC Manual;
• maintaining a database of select domestic and international and comparative caselaw;
• running a Human Rights Seminar Series with leading international and domestic human rights advocates;
• conducting human rights education and training for lawyers and human rights advocates and practitioners; and
• the publication of human rights pieces in the Australian media.
