The Human Rights Law Resource Manual provides a practical and accessible overview of the international human rights framework and the use of relevant international and domestic human rights instruments in casework, litigation, advocacy, and policy analysis and design.
The Manual is divided into the following parts:

- Chapter 3 – Responsibility for Implementation of Human Rights

- Chapter 5 – The Victorian Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities (current as at 20 July 2007)
- Chapter 6 – International Human Rights Law Monitoring, Reporting and Complaints Mechanisms
- Chapter 7 – Choosing and Running a Human Rights Case
